Personalized Cupcake Stands

How to make a cupcake stand - Crafts UnleashedDoes your family have any special family traditions when it comes to celebrating birthdays?   We love to go all out for birthdays at my house and we always have cupcakes.  So, I decided to make a personalized cupcake stand for each member of the family.  After all, cupcakes are so pretty…they need something pretty to display them!

Let me show you how to make a cupcake stand with a personal touch…

Supplies:

cupcake stand Step One:  Spray paint your candlestick and round wood plaque.  You should also go ahead and paint and glitter your chipboard letter on the front and back.

cupcake standStep Two:  Once dry, flip over the wooden circle and insert screw eye about 1/2 inch away from edge.

cupcake standStep Three:  Affix the candlestick to the bottom of the wood circle in the center with E-6000 glue.  I put a can on mine to make sure there was a tight grip while it dried.  I recommend following the package directions and letting it dry overnight.

cupcake standStep Four:  Now you will punch a hole in the letter and tie it to the screw eye that is hanging on the underside .

cupcake standStep Six:  Now just add your cupcake and you are ready to celebrate!

Those are so cute!!! I love the idea of personalizing each stand with a variety of different items – I think I’ll try it with cute pictures in little frames.

Love your cupcakes stands and adding the letter is very nice touch. What a great little gift this would make for one’s birthday; 1 Big homeamde cupcake on top of the stand. Awesome
