Emergency Mason Jar Teacher Kit

Can you believe back to school is right around the corner? We’re sad to see summer go and not quite ready for the fun to end. The kids are making the most of the end of summer vacation by checking off everything we missed on our bucket list, which has made these last two weeks our busiest! In preperation for the upcoming school year I’ve stocked up on school supplies for the kids and made a few teacher gifts. This emergency mason jar teacher kit is filled with personal care items that can help a teacher throughout the day. You can fill it with anything you think a teacher would need, from school supplies to sanitizer bottles or even Tide pens.

Step One: Choose the supplies you will fill your jar with. Here are a few ideas. Bandages/first aid kit, pain medication to ward off headaches, lint roller, Tide pen, lotion, sanitizer, mints, Starbucks VIA pouches, and of course chocolate!

Emergency-teacher-kit-Crafts-Unleashed-1Step Two: Add some color and make your mason jar stand out by painting your lid with chalky paint. I used 1-2 coats of Americana chalky finish paint in Rogue.

Step Four: Use a hole punch and jute to add the chalkboard tag to the jar.

Now you have an easy teacher gift filled with all the essentials a teacher would need!

  3. Since we cant send “drugs” to school (aleeve), I might also send an uplifting or a calming essential oil in a tiny vial, homemade lip balm, a few stickers to hand out… I love the items you thought of and the idea is soooo cute! I am making my son’s teacher gifts this weekend! THANK YOU!!!
