Using a hot glue gun, I added a pretty ribbon bow to the back of the chalkboard for hanging.  I also painted the frame with white craft paint and added mini polka dots and hearts. These are just a few examples of what you can do to dress up your frame. The possibilities are endless!

Wonderful Idea. I loved it. I have Grandchildren that are in college, working or just married.
I took your idea a bit further and printed the chart on decorative cardstock. I put family birthdays and anniversary dates on them before laminated them (Your Story). They can use Expo marker, which I attached, and put them in frames.. They can add other family and friends dates that are important to them. All it takes is someone special to give us great and workable ideas to get our creative juices flowing. Thanks again.

  3. This is such a great project! Thanks for the project idea!

  4. How about even easier……
Print out the birthday date/day page.
Fill it out , then put it in a frame
Use dry ease pens to mark off that a card or gift has been sent.
Thanks for the idea and the print out

    • This pooped into my head again this morning.
You could always print off two or there and keep them in the back of the frame.
Then as birthdays are added {and you know there always are, marriages, babies} you will have them right there to fill out.
Also, I know this is a little dark, but on the back side, you could print the list, or just write it down, the deaths of friends and family that you need and want to remember.
