Pottery Barn Inspired Mason Jar Vase

Are you excited about the holiday season? I can’t wait to start decorating for Christmas. We still have a few weeks but I’ve already started crafting a few new decor projects. Every year I take a look at Pottery Barn for inspiration, I love Pottery Barn but not their prices. What I’ve found is that I can usually create knock-offs for a lot less. Using only a few items, I was able to create this easy mason jar vase for a fraction of the price.

Supplies:

• Mason Jars
• Jute
• Pine spray
• Pine Cones
• Flame-less Candle
• Artificial Snow or White Glitter (optional)

I began by trimming the needles from the pine spray (bending the pine needles in a circle helped them fit nicely inside). I also cut a few pieces to scatter around the candle. To give them a snowy effect you can add white glitter or artificial snow. I gave mine a light spray of adhesive then dashed a small amount of glitter on top before adding them to the vase.

I then tied the jute around the neck of the jar and hot glued the small pine cones on the front. The pine cones I used did not have frosted tips like Pottery Barn’s but you can find them here. Then I  added a flame-less candle inside.

Now I have a pretty Christmas mason jar vase to add to my decor. The best thing about it is that it can be used indoors or outdoors. This mason jar vase cost only a fraction of Pottery Barn’s and I’m so happy with the way it turned out.
