The kit comes with everything you need to complete these towels, however there is only black ink in the kit.  If you want other colors, you will need fabric medium and acrylic paint in the color of your choice.  NOTE:  Always wash your items before applying any type of design.

Stencil your own dish towels quickly and easily!First, use your Silhouette to design and cut your stencil for your towel.  The kit comes with special vinyl specific for this purpose.  I must say I was very impressed with the quality of the stencil vinyl in this kit.  I used stock images off of the internet and my Silhouette software to trace the image.  The kit also comes with a download card from the Silhouette store where you can download exclusive fabric ink designs for free.

Stencil your own dish towels quickly and easily!Remove the vinyl liner and apply the entire thing to your towel.  Again, I used the gift card to burnish down the vinyl.

Stencil your own dish towels quickly and easily!Carefully remove your transfer tape and you are left with your stencil.

Stencil your own dish towels quickly and easily! The kit comes with a sponge and a foam brush.  The directions indicate that the sponge will give more of a distressed look so I went with it.  I applied the black ink to my design.

Stencil your own dish towels quickly and easily!Allow your project to dry completely before removing the vinyl stencil.

Stencil your own dish towels quickly and easily! You can work on another project in the meantime.  Using the same steps, I made this towel with a row of jars.  Mix your acrylic paint and fabric medium according to the directions on the fabric medium bottle.

Stencil your own dish towels quickly and easily! The line of different sized jars may well be my favorite design but I am a bit partial to crafts with jars!
