Make Your Own Tiled Mirror

Tiled DIY mirror - Crafts UnleashedI love to decorate with mirrors. Mirrors are like framed blank canvases that change as people pass by. I used a very basic mirror and decorated it to match my son’s room decor. It’s an inexpensive and quick way to add some interest to a blank wall.

DIY Tiles on Mirror
Supplies needed to make your own DIY mirror:

IMG_0977Step one: Select your paper. 6″ x 6″ sheets designed for card making are perfect because the images are reduced, but any paper will work. Peel the epoxy domes off the backing and adhere to the paper.

IMG_0981IMG_0986Step two: Cut the “tiles” out.

IMG_0988Step three: Arrange the tiles on the mirror. Once you’re happy with the placement, glue them in place.

Tiled Mirror DIYStep four: Glue the sawtooth hanger on the back.

IMG_1014Your custom mirror is now ready to be displayed! I think these mirrors would look pretty as a centerpiece at a party, too. Spell words or choose papers that match your party’s theme, and then top the mirror with a candle or vase. Have fun creating!
