Beaded Place Cards

placecard main

So this is bead week on Crafts Unleashed!  I decided to take a different spin on beads and how they can be woven into paper crafting.  Of course it all depends on the beads!

There are so many types of beads available.  You can use the larger beads as charms or flower centers in paper crafting.  You can use small seed beads to string on wire and create embellishments for your scrapbook pages.  You can use medium beads to add sparkle and shine on your altered projects.  So many ways to use beads and paper!

Today I decided to take the pink and blue flower beads with green leaves included in each package and create a little paper craft item with them.  I decided on placecards.  These could be used for a birthday party, a garden party, a wedding, or for many other occasions!

Basically I cut my colored cardstock form the Die Cuts with a View Brights Cardstock stack to measure 3 1/2″x 7″.  I scored it in the center and folded it in half.
Next I cut a piece of Darice Paper Crafters white Cardstock deck into a piece that measures 2 1/4″ x 2 3/4″, attached this to green cardstock and trimmed around it so there was a 1/16″ border around the white.”
Then I attached this to the placecard blank.
Next I placed black letter stickers on the front usingthe Darice Say It Stickers in black.
Now I took some small Zots and attached my flowers and leaves beads in each corner as shown.

So there are some quick and easy placecards for your next party!  They are easy and so cute!

Cute idea, I have some leaves left from another project, now I know what I can do with them. Probably a spring greeting card with a Thinking of You theme.
