Altered Storganizer
main

Altered Storeganizer by Lisa Falduto

Who can honestly say that they do not need any more storage?  We crafters are always in need of excellent storage solutions, especially for our tabletop area!  Well I could not just put a plain Storganizer on my desk, so I decided to alter it!  I found all the supplies I needed at Consumer Crafts.  Here is a list of what I used:

Taupe Storganizer
4″ Ecru doilies
12×12 Once Upon a Time paper stack
Antique gold pendant
Natural Mini Buttons
2.5″ Brown Sheer Organza ribbon
Pinking Decorative edge scissors
Pearl strands
Storybook Cricut cartridge
Cricut Expression

detail

First I covered the front and created a decorative edge using the pinking scissors.  Then I glued on the doily and cut around it again with the pinking scissors.  I made a ribbon rose from the ribbon and attached it with folded pearl strands coming out from the sides.  I cut a swirl using my Cricut Expression and Storybook cartridge and added to the doily and then scattered some buttons around the doily.  Finally I added the antique gold medallion in the center and a couple of ribbon folds to the outside edges.

So I challenge each of you to pick up a Storganizer and alter it for yourself.  I’d love to see a picture when are done so feel free to leave a link in your comment!
