Today’s product is- GLITTER! Six tubes, in fact, in lovely Christmas-y colors. Now, for glitter lovers, there is no better season than the holidays! Glittery snowflakes, glittery ornaments, glittery cards…you get the idea.

I came up with a SUPER quick glitter craft, good for the young ones and older folks, too- all you need are 4 ingredients and you’ve made yourself some fun and gift-able ornaments!

You’ll need:

• flat porcelain ornaments
• adhesive  sheet
• Clever Lever Scallop heart punch
• Glitter
• Sharpies (optional)

Clean off the front and back of your ornament with some glass cleaner to get the best result. Punch a heart shape from the adhesive sheet, and peel off 1 side of the backing. Apply it to the center of the ornament, burnishing well with the back of a fingernail. Peel off the other layer of paper backing, and sprinkle well with glitter. (I like to put the release paper back on top at this point and press the glitter into the adhesive, just to make sure it stays stuck!)

Shake off the excess, and finish off with a handwritten sentiment with your Sharpie marker. (Adding the name of the maker and the year is always nice!

Like I said, this is a great gift-able for teachers, coaches, school crossing cards, secretaries…anyone you want to let know they are appreciated this time of year. You can also use it as a gift tag and write “to: and from:” on the back and attach to a package as a two-fer. Wouldn’t you love to recieve a nice loaf of banana bread and this little giftie on top? Sure you would.
