Washi Tape Nails

I am hooked on washi tape.  Martha Stewarts line of it is so cute, especially this green and white polka dot one.  I always see tutorials on how to do nails online and I wanted to try to do something different from the ordinary one-color nail.  I decided to try using washi tape to ornament my nails.

I simply love the way my washi tape nails turned out!

Materials:

First apply a base coat color of your choice.  I used white because it went great with the green and white tape.  Wait for polish to dry.

Place the tape on nail and using cuticle scissors, cut the tape off on the sides.  It is better to have your tape slightly shorter on the edges than longer.  If it is longer it may come apart.

Secure the tape on each finger pressing down on the edges to make sure it is tight.

Apply top coat of polish and viola, simple and cute nails.  You want to make sure you get the edges of the tape with the top coat.
