Washi Tape Embellished Handmade Card

Paper tape, or most commonly known as washi tape, makes creating handmade cards easier than ever! Create quick cards with multiple patterns using strips of paper tape and a few colorful embellishments. Super simple, very little waste and the only glue used is on the floral embellishments.  The ribbons and the paper tape come in coordinated color packs by Martha Stewart.

Fold the card stock  in half to form the card base. On the bottom of the card, place the first strip of washi tape.  I started an 1/8th of an inch from the bottom.   paper tape card Add additional strips of the tape, one on top of the other, like shown below.  You could even make different lengths to add some variety. spring card Trim the specialty ribbon to create smaller leaf branches.  Cut several and play around with them to create a look you love.  Trim off a few flowers and add a pearl to the center of the flowers.
