The holidays can be overwhelming at times. Between holiday parties and gift giving, there’s so much going on that I often turn to quick handmade gifts to ease the stress. These simple hot chocolate gift baskets are perfect for holiday party favors or a last minute gift idea for neighbors and co-workers.
I used the mini David Tutera’s wood baskets and filled them with hot cocoa packets, marshmallows, and a candy cane. You could also add a gift card in there. These little wood favor boxes are small and compact and were the perfect size for these cute hot chocolate gift baskets!
Supplies needed to make your own hot chocolate gift baskets:
- Wood Favor Baskets ($3.97 for 6)
- Clear Treat Bags ($1.17 for 20)
- Red Baker’s Twine ($2.47)
- Christmas Themed Washi Tape ($1.97)
- Mini Marshmallows ($2.50 or less)
- 6 Hot Cocoa Packets ($2.00 or less)
- 6 Candy Canes ($1.00)
Total: $15.08 for 6 gift baskets, or $2.51 each!
I then filled small clear treat bags with marshmallows and folded a hot cooca packet to fit inside along with a candy cane. These hot chocolate gift baskets are a very quick and simple project that’s going to make a great party favor for the kid’s holiday party.
